I met Tom in late aug.1994 at the Maryland state fair were i was working.T om seemed like the perfect guy...great smile, alot of fun, Tom also had a mysterious side to him which i liked..little did i know, that mysterious side would later scar me for years to come.After the Maryland state fair was over, i was being sent to Concord n.c and he was to go to new kent v.a.While i was in concord, i recieved a phone call(AT A PAY PHONE)from Tom..very strange.He said he couldnt wait 2 more days to see me he had to hear my voice.I felt so lucky to have someone who cared enough to go to all the trouble of calling a pay phone for me.Two days later i left for Richmond v.a. to play the Virginia state fair and where i would meet up with my 'prince charming' again.When i arrived, he was already there...strange again. The fair he was at was due to end the day AFTER the one i was at !Like a love struck fool, i assumed the schedule had changed and they closed earlie.After two days had g! one by, i had noticed that TomHow it changed my life:i lost alot of faith and trust in people and it took me a long time to get past that.
