The bas went on lock down for three days, and nothing further was said. However, several AGE units were brought into my shop for repairs: Parts were cut in half INSIDE the units. The cuts also were VERY clean, no rips, burrs, or melting. To top it off, they were all welded shut units. How'd they get damaged? Ask Uncle Sam. |

Interesting but lacks technical detail. The information is widely known so there is nothing new here for people who have heard of this incident. One the plus , it seems to confirm what i already know . It would be extremely hard to get the navy to reveal anything , so it may be all that we will ever know. On a lighter note check out the film based on the story it's quite good. |

| Date: 10/10/1999 8:21:00 PM The actuallity of this is the experiment was first done on a ship with just animals on it, the ship disapeared and 11 minutes later it reapeared with a green glow and animals burned or missing. It was then done on the Eldridge. The ship dissapeared for 4 hours then reappeared with men missing, haveing heartattacks and being stuck in the hull of the ship. The ship was believed to have gone 40 years into the future. |

Pulse phased induced magnatism or the generation of the "Weak interactive field" was one of Albert Einsteins last theories. It was reported he was at dockside when the Eldridge dissapeared. After seeing that the radar cloaking intention of this experiment created far greater implications and looking at what we had done wiith the applications of his previous accomplishments (splitting of the atom) it is not too difficult to understand why Mr Einstein did not continue further. This project was launched by the navel weapons reasearch division, who later disclaimed all knowledge of it's existence. However the Eldrige was commisioned heavy in the water , with full radar array. decomissioned with substancially less tonnnage. You may want to read Mr. Einsteins books on this theory or "the Philidelphia experiment" unabridged by Dr Stanley K. Jessup. We could ask Mr Jessup for further details, however he was found dead on Key Biscayne with a hose from his exhaust into the interior of his station wagon. (officially suicide) Mr Einstein did a lot of work on the deffinition of the space/time continuim, is it possible he opened a dimensional bridge/wormhole? After all we know they do exist? I would appreciate any further information on this theory and application. Alex |

The author could have done a litte more homework on the subject, but for all those reading the comments, Nicolai Tesla was actually heavily involved in Project Rainbow (The Philidelphia Project). He based some of his work off of Albert Einstein's "Unified Field Theory", and came up with a way to bend the magnetic (and thus gravitonic) fields around a ship, which would bend timespace around said ship, which would, in turn, bend the light around the ship to make it appear to be invisible. The first test of this system went well, but the second test was a dismal failure. If you want to know the true story of what happened there, I suggest you hear it from the proverbial "horse's mouth", and listen to the June 12, 1998 interview of Al Bielek (the only surviving member of Project Rainbow's scientific team) with Art Bell. You can find this interview in Real Media format at: http://ww2.broadcast.com/artbell/june98.stm Be prepared, it is a 5.5 hr show with commercials, but if this story, or even the movie interested you in the slightest, or if you are interested in abnormal or theoretical physics, I strongly urge you to tough it out. |

| Date: 12/25/1999 6:24:00 PM I enjoyed learning about the philidelphia experiment, It has caught my attention and many of the reasons the government would not allow us to carry such a device is simply because we can't be trusted with it. People are killing people with guns and now can you immagine what would happen if people could transport those they hate somewere else? I aggree that the government isn't telling everything there is to know. Look at area 51, sightings of UFO's have been spoted there, but they won't tell us what it really is. They only released an aircraft lately of a jet I believe. As for the philidelphia expiriment, the problem they have been experiencing is that they can transport objects to one place from another, but the particules in the human and material cells will become fused, as if welded together. As for your story, you do need to add a little more details, on how the people were fused into the ship, and you need pictures on how the ship actually looked after returning from it's trip to where ever it went. As I was reading some replies, I read one that said he/she heard the USS Elridge traveled 40 years into the future, well, obviously that ain't true cause they would have seen the boat on Oct. 23 1983 in the Philidelphia Harbor. I am very interested in knowing what the government wasts our tax money on and wasts most of it's time on. This is one story that has always facinated me. |
| Date: 12/25/1999 6:39:00 PM It's me again, the one who just wrote above, I would think that the government would tell us civilians about it's experiments so we wouldn't always be caught in the dark unknowing what is happening in our surroundings. If something happens in the future, then how are we to know that the government had nothing to do with it? As like the philidelphia expiriment, they covered everything they could under the blankets so people wouldn't find out what they were trying to do, but obviously they have done a bad job at doing so, many things the government tries to cover up is usually suspicioned by the people that it's them doing so butthey usually do such a good job at cover ups they deny everything and we have no proof to proove that any of this is true, all we have are stories passed down from the actual people that were there. We have no pictures and we have no hard evidence of the philidelphia experiment ever existing, the books and the documentaries could all be a lieto cover something bigger they were trying to do. Wouldn't you think that in 56 years they would have finally achieved something in they're reserch? with all the things they came out with within 56 years that is technically new, this expiremint could have been perfected, but why don't they tell the people who are interested in knowing these things? So many questions unanswered, and the only people who have the answer is the government who is not willing to talk about anything. The government only lies to the people they are said to serve. They say they protectus from knowing the truth cause the truth could be too much for us to handle, if thats true, why not let the people decide? I believe that with the government running the world, we won't advance far technically very fast. or atleast not that the people will know. Why do they lieto us to protect themselves? In which way do they protect us and in which way would we bring them down? If the government would tell us of the experiments they were working on, then wouldn't we just encourage them to make our civiulization a better place? Just some food for thought: People who don't have an open mind to things such as the present issue, are in my opinion very vain. It's typical of a lot of people today to believe we are the oh so dominate creature in this universe and that there aren't lots more worlds and creatures in the beyond. And as for time travel or even a magical disappearing act, it to me is very real. We have the technology to walk on the moon, cologne animals, we even have the power to destroy this world. There shouldn't be a doubt that time travel, aliens, ect. are possible even had they been a fib or lie in the past. |
