How could I have ever not trusted God's love   Author: 1060  Category:(Angels) Created:(10/26/1999 10:38:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (1149 times) This year I have experienced so much death in my family in a short period of time that I really don't know how I have come this far. Some people say that time heals all and that it was god's will. Which you or I really believe is a manner of quest. Unless you have gone through what I have then I suggest that you think twice before saying anything. For you see I lost a mother and grandson within 7 months apart. These two people were the most important part of my life my mother - gave me birth and then I gave birth to a daughter who in return gave birth a 4th generation that was suppose to carry on the name sake of our family. God choose to take one of my grandchildren at a very young and tender age ., This torn my heart & sole out plus no one will ever know what this did to my mind, heart, and most of all my love for god. At this time in my life when I needed to put all my faith in god I turned the other way, by drinking and trying to take my own life. Depression was so deep for me that all I could see was a darkness that was controlling my very being and no way to grasp hold of the real world. Then I went to church one night and the preacher there told of things that no one else would possibility know but me, these things were in my heart and I spoke to one of them. Well this preacher prayed for me and asked the father above to take me in his arms and give me peace for the loss of my loved ones. At the time I felt gods love and grace return to my heart ,with this I felt peace that only the good lord above could give so freely. At times I still go into the dark side but along with the prayers from those who care I can look ahead. Thank you for all who are still praying for me to keep my Faith.
