Faces in the picture   Author: 928  Category:(Angels) Created:(10/17/1999 5:38:00 AM) This post has been Viewed (1869 times) It started when I was in th 9th grade. I had hurt my back in gym. Because of the injury my spine grew wrong and I got arthritis.(I was 14) I had alot of pain thay had me taking pain killers most of my life In 1986 M.S. hit me. It paralysised my right side and left leg. I was in a wheelchair for 8 months.Thay said I would never walk right again I would have to use a cane or walker. Then my arthritis got really bad My knees would swell like softballs and my hands would hurt so bad i couldn't hold a pen. I would pray to God that If there was a little child who was going to die to take me instead I was in so much pain. And I would pray please to give me just one day without pain. In the winter I could hardly get out of bed. I would have to hot baths to were it turned my skin red to help the pain. Then in 1996 xmas eve we where in bed it was around midnight I just got done saying my prays I turned over to put my arm around my husbund and the picture of Jesus I have hanging on the wall, the heart was glowing. Now this picture is a 18x20 and use to hang in the cath school. I closed my eyes and thought I was seeing things. I opened them again thinking it would be gone. but now not only was the heart glowing but there were two faces in the picture.In the left side corner was my grandfathers face (died in 1982) and in the right corner was my dads ( died in 1970).I thought I was dreaming I closed my eyes to see if it would go away, but when I opened them it was clear as day. I closed my eyes an a warm rush went threw my hole body I opend my eyes and the picture was fading first the faces then the heart. I shook my husbund to see if he had seen it but he was asleep.When I got up for the firt time sence I was 14 I didn't hurt. I felt good My body didn't hurt my knees weren't swelled up, my hands didn't hurt. I couldn't belive what happend.My husbund could hardly belive it. He knows the pain I went threw. To this day my doctor(who is a friend of my familys)can still not understand what happend. I haven't had to see a doctor sence Jan 1997. And my M.S. dosen't bother me hardly at all. I still have pain now and then but its only if I over do things ,like to much lifting or a headache. I thank God every day. And I konw he does hear your prays. How it changed my life: It made me belive that anything is possible in life. And never give up no matter how hard life gets. We are all put to a test here on earth and we all have had hard times in life. But in the long run it only makes us stronger. I don't go to church but I do say my prays every day. And you have to belive that God does hear your prays.I belive gods house is every where not just a structure that people go to once a week. Iwas told when I was young that religion is something you practice every day not only on sundays. I belive that.
