When I was leaving home my mother(Dorothy Ridley)came out and handed me a couple of papers and instructed me not to read them until after I left. When I read them I became really confused. The papers talked of a female child that was born at Vancouver Memorial Hospital was given up for adoption on or around March 17, 1955. The attorney that was supposed to have picked the child up at the hospital was Lloyd F. LaLonde. The attorney was suppose to be handling the adoption to a couple in the State of Oregon for Multnomah County. What is really amazing about this whole thing is that I always thought I was adopted and when I was growing up the whole time I lived in Vancouver people would come up to me mistaking me for someone else. So when I read those papers I still wasn't quite sure what to do. I told my brothers about it and we decided to try to find her. We did some of our own investigating but kept coming up empty. If anyone has any ideas please tell me.Feeling lost, Linda (Ridley) Apparently there was some confusion about my story. I will try to clear up a few things. First I did confront my mother and she said she wouldn't talk about it because it was too uncomfortable. Second thing is no she is not a twin. How it changed my life:I can't stop thinking about it daily!!!!
