Hi Cliffy. The strangest kind of things I know now, that I wish I knew when I was much younger .. are the exact things my Mother was trying so hard to teach me. Funny how when we are 8 or 10 years old, parents seem to nag about being polite and caring. Then when a person starts to get older, we suddenly realize how critical it is in every day life. Just the act of acknowledging the kindness of another person is so important, and will keep those around you continuing to be kind and caring. Hope this makes sense. *Hugs* .. *tosses doggie a tasty treat* .. :) |

Hmmm, probably that your first love doesn't always mean your first husband, that Cinderella doesn't always exist and that I'm still waiting on the knight on white horse after all these years lol;) |

That my parents really aren't idiots and that they really were doing what was best and NOT trying to "ruin my life" or whatever I once said!! |

The importance of staying in school. To not hang around people from the wrong crowd, because they're really not cool and when they get older they turn into nobody's. That the decisions you make when you're younger really do affect your life as an adult. Rules arent there to hold you back but to protect you. I'm sure there are loads more I could add to this..lol. |

Oh dear... where do I start? Uhm, love doesn't have to hurt. My dad and mom will help me out and support me no matter what. I could have moved if I really wanted to. Children know, see and hear more things than you really think. Save all those clothes you hate and turn them into a quilt. I wish I knew more about frugality and simplicity back then. NEVER get a credit card. USM is an awesome place... oh, wait, I already got that one LOL |

That life goes on even when people move in and out of your life. That everything in life changes and to accept it,grow, and move on. One thing I have learned now is that that is perfectly A-OKAY. |
