Ouija- Don't mess around with the unknown

I've read other ouija stories in here and I just have to share mine with you. It started out innocently enough. I was with my brother and a few of his friends. They had just bought a ouija and wanted to try it out. I volunteered to do it because it's said to work best with a male and a female. Nothing happened at first, but then the planchette started to move, making a big "T" on the board. We asked questions, and strangely enough it predicted the man I was going to marry. My friend was already in a relationship so I seriously doubted that we would ever marry, but soon after the ouija session he broke up with his girlfriend and admitted to me that he had always loved me. I had no idea!!! Needless to say this sparked my ouija curiosity, so my brother and I started using it more. One night my brother's friend and I were on it. My brother said he was hungry so he went to the kitchen to get a snack. Jokingly, we asked the board what my brother was going to eat and it spelled out "slime". We just laughed and said "oh, ok then"... A moment later my brother walks in carrying a carton of yogurt!!! He hadn't told us what he was going to eat, and the kitchen wasn't visible from where we were, so this info made true believers out of us. After that incident, things started to turn bad. The cat would start freaking out, the candles would spark and spray wax everywhere, and cold chills would run down my neck. My brother was in the shower one day and just started screaming. He ran into his room soaking wet, curled up in a fetal ball on the bed, and started crying. I held him and calmed him down. He kept saying "the mirror the mirror" and pointed to the bathroom. I went to the bathroom to investigate and my heart stopped when I looked at the mirror. It was still fogged up from the shower and written on the mirror was a "T". The next day we burned the ouija and never played with it again. You never know what kind of presense you'll invite into your home, so it's better not to mess around with the unknown.

How it changed my life:

I haven't touched a ouija in 4 years. That experience gave me bad feelings so I've learned not to toy with things I don't understand.

I've never tried that before and I've been tempted to do it.
I've always turned the other way though. Messing with that stuff
can be a mistake..
Date: 9/20/1999 6:59:00 PM    THAT WAS THE BEST OUIJA BOARD STORY I'VE HEARD!!!!
Date: 9/20/1999 7:08:00 PM    I learned my lesson well to the hard way!! As a child I thought of it as a game. Now I dont.. Since my incident with the ouija (thats another story for another day) I dont want one near me or in my house at all
Date: 9/20/1999 7:44:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 411    This was my first posting and I just wanted to say thanks for letting me share my story with you. I assure you it's true "dude". If you ever seriously mess around with one, you'll see for yourself! I thought it was just a game too, but I was very very wrong! I won't allow one in my house ever again. Those of you with bad ouija experiences, I'd love to hear your story. It relieves me know that similar things have happened to other people, because an experience like that can make you feel like you're going crazy.
Date: 9/20/1999 8:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 421    now this story is really...................rocking........i mean it kinda got me scared a little while there......good move, bud
Date: 9/21/1999 3:24:00 AM    i believe it. cause i had a ouija board when i was much younger. a friend and i were playing with her ouija once and it was inhabited by an evil spirit named Amberly. My ouija board was supposedly a good spirit... or so it said and her name was Allyce. and she said she had been an 18th century milk maid. all i know is that when we played with my friend's ouija... some man would call on the phone and say his name was shadow. we both talked to him. he knew we were playing with the ouija and we were alone in the house. i later burned my ouija board after my mom told me to clean out my closet... one day i went back to my closet and there it was again. there was no indicator/planchette to be found. i knew it was the same board cause i had scratched my name into it. i know it sounds crazy but this is a true story.
Date: 9/21/1999 8:09:00 AM    That was a very good story. Many years ago, my dad found an Ouija board.I was maybe 8 years old and everytime me and my grandma would try to "play" with it, it never worked. But it worked fine when it was just my grandma. I have been tempted to purchase one, but something tells me to just leave it alone.
Date: 9/21/1999 8:59:00 AM    You're smart not to mess with things you aren't familiar with. At least no one was hurt physically.
Date: 9/21/1999 11:10:00 AM    Hi my name is Brandy im from san antonio texas, well i think this story is great and the people that played this game were stupid and dumb to mess with the devil.that is a very dumb situation to get your self into
Date: 9/21/1999 11:33:00 AM  From Authorid: 177    I'VE ALWAYS BEEN FRUSTRATED BECAUSE I'VE NEVER BEEN BEEN ABLE TO GET AN OUIJA BOARD TO WORK FOR ME. I AGREE THAT THERE ARE BOTH NON-HUMAN DEMONIC ENTITIES AS WELL AS TROUBLED SPIRITS OF THE HUMAN DEAD WHO UNDER THE RIGHT (WRONG) CIRCUMSTANCES WILL COME THROUGH AND MAKE TROUBLE. ONLY VERY RARELY DOES A SPIRIT FROM A HIGHER LEVEL COME THROUGH. THE OUIJA OPERATOR MUST BE SPIRITUALY WELL DEVELOPED AND USE THE RIGHT PURIFICATION RITUALS TO INSURE THAT THE "BAD GUYS" STAY AWAY. OTHER WISE THE BEST YOU'RE GONNA GET IS A SCAREY SPOOK SHOW.
Date: 9/21/1999 2:56:00 PM  From Authorid: 177    I would reccomend Stoker Hunt's excellent book "OUIJA: THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME:
It covers the perils and pitfalls of using the ouija board but gives advice to those who insist on going ahead with it anyway.

Date: 9/21/1999 2:57:00 PM  From Authorid: 431    I think that this story is a great lesson not to mess with the dead or the Unknown. It is just about evil and being a Christian, Evil is just Awful. I have a daughter named Christina who invited a friend over name Alex and Alex brought it and when they were playing with it something happened and Chrissy and Alex came running to me. I think that a Oujia Board is not something to be taken lightly. This story is a lesson to all out there who have been thinking of playing with Oujia Boards. I don't think it's a good Idea and Chrissy and Alex will agree with you! I also have one question. What does the "T" on the mirror stand for how come it scared the boy so much? I know the first "T" stood for the man she was to marry but what was the second "T" what did it mean? Cheryl Prackett.....Ohio
Date: 9/21/1999 3:12:00 PM  From Authorid: 335    YOUR STORY WAS SOOO GREAT!
I dont know weather i wanna play with my Ouija board anymore or not! I think they are so cool. I have talked to a girl names "T" be4 also on it. Well bye! BY THE WAY: you should tell if anything else happened or not.
Date: 9/21/1999 3:13:00 PM    Hi my name is Heather.I just wanted to share my story with you about an experience I had with a ouija. It all started when a friend of mine bought the game. She came up to my house and her,my sister, and myself thought it would be fun to try the game out.We were all sitting in my room when we started playing,of course each one of us accused the other of moving the indicater.we started to write down the letters that were coming up.Believe it or not the spirit we supposedly contacted was my brother that died about several years prior. He said that he was afraid because there was a hole which I do not understand. We talked for a little while before I asked if he was there with us and he said Yes that he was all around my sister, which was sitting in the middle. When I asked why he stated "Because love creates anglels".He also said that he could see us through mirrors. After we were through talking we became so excited and ran upstairs to tell my mother that we had spoken to our brother. She got real upset and demanded that we burn the game. That is when everything went wrong....We couldn't leave that game alone. One night after playing the board with a friend of mine I went to bed.My room was in the basement so there were no windows.I was laying in bed when I noticed that there was a gray looking smoke in the corner of my room....which was odd because I could see it even though it was so dark.I rolled over and thought it was just my imagination. Then I could feel my bed moving like there was someone crawling onto my bed from the bottom.I thought to myself once again that my imagination is in overdrive again. And then I heard laughing, that is when I reached up to turn on my light...but it was gone.I ran out of the room as fast as I could. The next day the game was gone and my room was moved right next door to my parents.I am married now and alot older and wiser. You should never mess with the unknown.
Date: 9/21/1999 9:25:00 PM    Hi, it's KR. I'm the one who wrote the story. The planchette didn't move to the letter "T", it made a line up, then a line left to right. Like a capital "T". As far as what it meant, the spirit who called himself "Frank" basically said that it was his personal signal to us, so when we used the board we would know it was him. Why it was a "T" I don't know. My husbands name starts with a "B" so that wasn't the meaning behind it. I've always wondered why the spirit did that, but I'm not sure I really want to know... As far as other incidents that led up to burning the board, that's a whole other story in itself. I didn't want the story to be too long, so I left out some other things that happened. I'll write an additional story to share the rest with you. Thanks for all the great replies to my story :)
Date: 9/22/1999 12:04:00 AM    I like many of you out there i am, or should i say was an experminter of the highly controversal ouija board and still to this day i will never touch one or be in the same room with one again. Trippy isent the word to use for my experience you never think that you are going to be the "group" that gets the bad spirits or that people who have encountered them are just making it up cuz it never really happens and besieds everyone thinks it "cant happen to them". Let me tell ya people know what the hell your dealing with cuz sometimes you get more than you bargain for and the spirits not so willing to leave. So if your gonna do it make sure its something you have researched, its good to be curious but somethings are better left alone, and in my opinion this is one of them. Its freaky that this board is sold in the kids section of your local toys-r-us store. Just be careful and god bless the curious.

Date: 9/5/2000 6:08:00 AM  From Authorid: 14322    I used to use one all the time when i was about 13-15 with myt friends, we never had too many problems with it though. I was the only one it really worked for for some odd reason, but then when i was 15 it said some nasty things like that i should kill my father and such. i have never touched one again or plan on touching one again.---Fyregoddess

Date: 10/26/2000 7:43:00 AM  From Authorid: 18630    Hi, it's KR. In response to Karen, yes I'm still married to "B". No, I still haven't used a Ouija board since the incident happened. I have a child now, so I won't allow one to enter into my home. I'm still fascinated by the "unknown", but I no longer invite it into my life.
