12 large strawberries
1 can pressurized whipped light cream
2 tablespoons shaved dark chocolate

Rinse the berries and pat dry with paper towels.

Trim off the stem end and cut in half lengthwise.

Cut a thin strip off the bottom of each berry half so they will sit upright without tipping over.

Squirt about 2 teaspoons of the whipped cream into the center of each berry and sprinkle with about 1/4 teaspoon of the shaved chocolate over the top. Serve immediately, or cover and chill for up to 1 hour before serving.

Makes 24 appetizers.

Diabetic Exchanges: 1/3 Fruit, 1/2 Fat.
