Today will be the 2nd year that my cousin Heidie has passed away. I can't believe that it's been 2 years already. My cousin would of been 30 years old by now. She was born with Marfar Syndrome. For many years, she had fought this syndrome and have gone through so many open heart surgeries.
I remember sitting by her on her at the hospital after being there for 7 straight hours on her death bed. I held on to her hand, which was so cold, told her that I loved her and I would see her the next day. She had later on passed away.
Doctors have always told her that she may not make it to a certain age or have any children. But she proved them wrong. She had two beautiful children. Sarafina and Gaberial. She was a true fighter.
I know that she's with my Oma who passed away a few days after my birthday this year. Feb 27th was when my Oma passed.
Everytime I drive pass their house, I think about all the good times we've had together, my cousin and I.
I truely still miss you cuz. Love you!!!
