Proof of Life Ater Death Only a Week After His Passing?   Author: 229  Category:(Mysterious) Created:(9/13/1999 3:48:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (3133 times) My baby brother was diagnosed with colon cancer in its 4th stage in October of 1997. He was given 6 months to a year to live. He was 37 and I 48. I was devastated as we were very close. In October of 1998 I was diagnosed with breast cancer but in its early stage. Again devastation and fear for our entire family. Tom did surpass his time by another 9 months. In my fear of death due to these rude awakenings on our lives, about 3 months before his passing I asked him to give me a sign if there is life after death. But I also added not to get me alone and not in the dark because I didn't want to be scared to death, he smiled and said he would. He died at 10pm on Thursday night July 22, 1999. We all mourned his passing, I myself am still in shock that he is no longer with us. A week and a day later, Friday night at around 10:30pm July 30th, my 30 year old daughter, my 12,9,2 year old grandkids and I had just arrived to my home from a theater. We were watching whatever we could find on T.V. My front window blinds were wide open. I see car lights and then I see a pizza man from Pizza Hut walk up to our door, I tell my daughter to let him know we didn't order anything, he verifies the address, so I then said maybe it was our next door neighbor because their phone is 2 digits different from ours. The kids ask our neighbor and they said "no". The pizza man calls work and they couldn't explain the error, they told him to sell them cheap so they wouldn't have to come back to the store. This time the guy says he just couldn't understand it and then he reads the ticket, it said Tom at our home address. My heart jumped as I explained to him my brother had died the week before. At the same time I thought of the coincidences, my brother only ordered from Pizza Hut, I only ordered from Alphy's. Also, we like pepperoni and canadian bacon, my brother only ate vegetarian. The pizza was from his ordering hole but it was the pizza we liked. So we bought the pizzas for $10. In the mean time I decided to call Pizza Hut, the lady said their cook Jeremy took the order, I asked him if he was sure he didn't make an error, he said positively not and even recalled how he read everything back to the phone caller and the caller said the info was right. Then the cook asked me if I was pulling their leg, I explained I would never joke about death. So everyone at Pizza Hut was freaking out and so were we at home, by now I was in tears. I asked the cook to call my second phone number as it still has my brother's voice on my voice message machine. The cook called it and then called me back and swore it was the same voice, adding that the voice didn't sound dead or spooky or anything. So by now I'm really in shock, and at Pizza Hut they weren't yet sure if I was legit or just looking for cheap pizza. The next day I went to Pizza Hut to show photos of my brother and his Service Announcement of his death. Now they believe me and we all can't explain it. But it does give me a new strength and a new faith that life doesn't stop when our body does. Everett, WA has a population of 85k, this is to much to be coincidence, especially only a week after his passing. His Pizza place, but the pizza we liked? too many similarities. And last but not least, this would have been Tom's perfect way of not scaring the daylights out of me. How it changed my life: It made me more accepting of death, to know there is more out there than we'll ever understand. I feel at peace too about my brother's passing, knowing that he is out there somewhere watching over us.
