I think dreams, most of them, arent to be taken literally. Some say death in a dream represents life, the exact opposite. Whatever it was, Im glad your uncle lived a long life....Az |

I believe that sometimes we have dreams like that that serve kind of like reminders to go see someone we maybe haven't seen for a while. I also believe there may be a link to having the dream about death and it happening soon. My husband said he had a similiar experience and he felt like he should go see his Aunt, but he never got around to it and she died. He was really sorry he never "listened " to his dream. He thinks it was a message from someone or something to go see her before she died, but by the time he was ready to do it...it was too late. - princess |

Take your dreams literally. I had a similar dream about my best friend. It soon happened that she died a mo. after I had that death dream. Read my story, A Friend's Murder. Learn from your dreams. I believe strongly that dreams are linked to esp in a way. Some people have esp by just touching something or hearing something and so on. I believe that the others have their esp through dreams. Sometimes the death in the dream occurs a mo. later from the dream or yrs. down the road. I just know that they are not precise. You just take the info. you get and work with that. |

From AuthorID2282. You folks are overzealous in your interpretation of dreams. You dreamt of a death. For any living being, death is inevitable. There was nothing supernatural about this situation. I had a nightmare once that I gave my hard-earned money to someone I didn't know. Since then, I pay taxes annually. You be the judge. |

I don't think I'm overly zealous in interpretating dreams. I actualy was trying to illustrate the point that my uncle's death was inevitable & that this particular dream was NOT of a psychic nature. TC |

I still don't understand your point TC. Is the fact that you remember the dream so vividly after all of these years, as opposed the many that we all forget, the reason why you are still wondering about the dream? MMC |

Hi MMC. This was also my first story...& was the first thing to come to mind. No I'm sure this wasn't psychic in nature. You can dream about anybody's death...& feel assured that eventually that the dream will come true, since everyones gonna die someday. TC |

Hi, MMC. I added the "he's comin' to getcha" to the title as a cheap ploy to get a response from somebody...anybody. Yes, I can be silly when desperate. Now I can change the title back to the original. Thanks. |

TC, If you want more comments, I would suggest re-writing a portion of it. For example: *first sentence is fine*..., I had wondered if my dream was a premonition of his death. I waited for the dreaded words from my family that Uncle Roy had indeed finally passed on. Eventually, I relaxed, and Uncle Roy enjoyed another 10 years of life totalling a whopping 107 years of age. I still wonder if my psychic powers were heating up then and if I weakly sensed Uncle Roy's death or if I was just having one of those random dreams. I would appreciate any feedback. HOW IT CHANGED MY LIFE: I feel that sometimes dreams are important in guiding us or helping us to see things that may happen, yet other times dreams can be confusing. |

hmmmm.....I think it could have been a sign,,..but most of the time, when you are interpreting dreams...you may have to look past the obvious subject....where were you during the dream?? What were the colors?? ETC

Mysticwitch...yes I agree that those things you mentioned should be considered. This dream took place at least 20 years ago, and I can't remember too much about it. I have a very active & vivid dream life, and I know that dreams can often be interpreted in terms of metaphores & symbols; also our day to day lives affect them. I really can't say for sure if I've ever had a truly psychic dream...after all at the time I dreamed of my uncle's death he was at least in his upper eighties, & you just know that sooner or later death is inevitable. |

I believe it was a dream bout' the inevitable. Most of my dreams are bout' people dying afterwards and then they do. You can predict a death through your dreams. I believe you did so. Good story TC. |

Yes, Dolphin Love...that's a great idea. We could both star & direct. First, of course, we will have to meet in our dreams: astrally project to each other. How will I recognize you? Sounds exciting! See you in my dreeeeaaaaaamms! |

I beleive it was just a dream about the inevitable. Everyone will die at sometime or another. If he had died in a matter of days, I would have thought it was a premonition. But since it was ten years later, I am sure the dream was just a result of subconscience thought that he was old and was going to die. I am impressed he made it to 107! LOVE, |

I completely agree. It was a dream about the inevitable. If I were to dream about the death of someone much younger... who wasn't expected to die...that would be another matter. |
