When I was 12 my maternal grandfather died. The night before he died, my father & I picked my Mom up from work and she suggested we stop to visit her parents. I immediately got frightened & knew I couldn't go, although I didn't know why. Totally panicked, I suggested they drop me off at home. I was really adament about not wanting to go, although I had no reason. Then my Mom said never mind, that she'd wait until the next night. As soon as she said that I thought, 'Tomorrow night will be too late,' but I didn't tell her that. I tried to get my parents to go without me, but they didn't. About 1:10 AM, after we'd all gone to bed, the phone rang. The upstairs phone
was in my bedroom & normally I would have picked it up, thinking it might be one
of my friends since occasionally they would call that late (but seldom on a
school night) but I immediately knew Grandpa had died. I couldn't move. I was
absolutely froze. My mother walked in to get the phone & because I wanted to
prepare her, I rolled over, stayed her with my hand and told her Grandpa had
died.
When Mom answered the phone, her mother said she thought Grandpa was dead (she
admitted later she knew he was dead but didn't want to tell Mom for sure on the
phone). Mother told Dad to hurry, that maybe they could get there in time, but
I told mother not to hurry, that Grandpa was already dead. How it changed my life:My ESP experiences have taught me that 1)knowledge is power 2)things happen that we don't understand 3)trust in the ESP 4)there's a lot of things we don't have answers to yet 5)I have little control over when I'll have a premonition or what I'll have a premonition about 6)people are less scared of it than they were when I was younger 7)most of the people I've met do believe.
