Me and my best friend Charles were going through my Great Grandmother's attic one day after school and we found this old trunk. So of course we opened it to find a bunch of occult stuff including a Ouji Board and a Spell Book. We took it down stairs and put it on the kitchen table. We both had never used one before but I said we shouldn't mess with it cause it can summon evil spirits. Charles insisted that we should try it out so I went along. It was cloudy outside all of a sudden and we started to get a scarry feeling. We ask the Ouji board who was there and it answer Allen. This was freaky cause that's my cousin who died in a fire three years ago. Just then a fork fell off the counter top behind us. It then slid down toward the old spell book we had laying on the floor next to us. We asked Allen if the spell book was his. It said yes. We wanted to check the book out so we stopped and I picked it up. I looked at Charles and his face was weird looking like it wasn't him. He said open the book and so I did. It had pictures of demons and symbols that looked like artistic stuff. It was to freaky so I said heck with this man and put the book in a drawer in the kitchen. We left the Ouji Board on the table and went outside to calm down. We were outside for about ten minutes when i felt a hand on my shoulder. I spun around and Charles was looking at the house and about 10 feet away. I got a shivver down my spine. I asked Charles what he was doing. He laughted and said ' Let's see' I asked him what he meant and he pointed to the window. There was a shape of a body standing in the window looking at us. It was a dark figure that seemed to be about my size and looked evil. We left right away and went to Charles house to get a gun. Returning to the house about an hour later with his dad's .45 we bravely entered the house. We didn't find anything unusual so after we calmed down and saw there was nothing we thought our imaginations were playing tricks on us. We later burned the book and all the occult stuff in the chest. I've always had a bad feeling since when I think of using a Ouji Board or anything with the occult. We didn't tell anyone but our friends about what had happened. Some believed us and others did not. It still gives me a chilling feeling thinking back to that day. I can't explain it or believe it myself. What could it have been?
