I go to a private Catholic college . I got assigned to a the oldest dorm on the campus. And since I was a freshman, got stuck on the fourth floor. The fourth floor in this biulding only has ten rooms. It is the attic which was renovated slightly so that the rooms could be used as dorms. Each one is a diiferent shape with great ceilings and windows that give it much character as opposed to the other regular dorms. It is just that it was a little spooky feeling up there. I went wandering around the floor to meet the other few people that also had rooms there and checked out all of the other interesting room set ups. When I came to a room at the end of the hall I saw that it was dark and empty. One of the adult residence directors was passing by so I asked her why it wasn't occupied. Especially because we had overcrowding this year and some rooms were trippled. When I asked her she told me the strangest and most frieghtning thing. She said it that they stopped as! signing that roo a few years ago. She said that the reason for this was because about 60 years ago when the school was all girls and mostly nuns, a young nun became pregnant. She killed her baby and then herself in that room. The lady also said that every time they assign that room, the girls complain of strange happenings, eerie noises, and the faint sound of a baby crying. I was very disturbed when I heard this and even though it came from an adult I was skeptical. But I soon found out that the whole attic did have a terribly creepy feeling, and ocassionally very strange unexplainable things happen up there even in rooms other than that one. And one of the ones that bothers most of us the most is that the door to that room is randomly locked and unlocked all of the time. And security are the only ones that have acsess to any keys, and security is never on the fourth floor. There are countless examples of eerie things that happen up there but I could write for hours. ! Anyways, just thought that it might be interesting to share.
