It's not weird... People are diffrent. I like watching them, because it actually prepares me in case I ever go through anything like that whenever I get preggers. Of course watching it doesn't really bother me, but seeing dead bodies on Tv or whatever doesn't bother me either, that's why I want to go into forensics. I'm diffrent, just like your diffrent. it's like this....i didn't want to seemy own kid be born and i sure don't want to see somebody else do it! i slept through mine. that was back in the good old days when you could be put to sleep just because you wanted to!! i told my husband he could watch but DO NOT wake me up!! he chose the father's waiting room! he got to see her and hold her before me but who cares!  |

i find it very interesting. i think it is amazing that something that huge can come out of something that little. lol. :D also, i have a very , very small chance, if ever of having kids someday, though i do keep up the hope that it will happen. so i think its really neat to watch other couples have babies, just to see what its like for them. :D  |

I don't mind watching these type of births,I never though of them as too personal..In highschool our kooky math teacher day before a dance,showed us the miracle of birth film and I about died seeing everything so clearly..she said girls this will make you think tomorrow night ( never figured out why a math teacher felt the need to show that film,guess to have us put 2 and 2 together, dance+ too much fun= screamin baby) lol :( heck when my son was being born I had to turn my face so I could not see everything in the reflection of her face shield thing LOL that doctor was a turd,she kept saying Oh look at me,you are going to miss this,I said,I can see the baby after it comes out :)  |

I think watching this is a beautiful thing but I know a lot of people in class were weirded out. I like it and I do think it is a private thing but if they are willing to share then it is their choice. Also how private can it be with strange docotrs and nurses!!! Ghost-Chick  |
