Tonight at midnight one of my friends is having labor induced so she can finally have her child. I would just like to say how proud I am of her because she has had an extremely hard time with this child. She has gestational diabetes, her kid has almost killed her more than twice, the child's father left her after the first month and went back to his ex-girlfriend (who has serious mental issues), and...well pretty much anything up to now that could go wrong with a pregnancy has. Sometimes I just don't know how she managed to make it this far without having a serious mental breakdown. Tonight is her night and I hope that at least tonight she will have no more complications. So I guess tomorrow we can all lift our glasses in a toast to her new child.
**UPDATE** She had her baby last night at 4:22 AM. It was a little girl.
