walk if it's only a 10 minute drive away.. also it's illegal to drive without having a licence! you could get into serious trouble and might loose your chance for many a year to drive because of it... your dad is not forcing you to drive without taking your road test... why dont you just go and take it  |

I think you should go and get your license ASAP. Here in NC if you get caught without one, you have to pay fines and your insurance can go up...then you have to wait 6 months before going to get your license.  |

Just go get your liscense ASAP. Why would your parents make you drive without your liscense. I would never do that. Someone I know did and they got caught, $1,000 fine and court. I duno, your call. Peace Out..  |

WOW! I can't believe your parents are making you drive without a license. No offense but that's insane. You will not be insured for one thing. another thing is what if nothing happens but there's a road block and you have to show your license to get through? can't you just go get your license? what about the car you will be driving? is it in your parents name? are they going to be responsible for paying the ticket if you get one? will they be able to cover any medical and legal problems since their insurance company probably will not? besides the fact that you are too scared to do it, there are a lot of other things to consider. if it were me, i wouldn't do it. then again.......my dad used to send me to the store every sunday when i was 12 and 13. it was about 3 miles away but it still shouldn't have happened.  |

You probably wouldn't get caught. But if you did, they would probably just give you a warning. My husband told me how he used to drive to the store and stuff when he was only 14. His parents let him. I thougt that was insane. But anyways, one time an officer pulled him over. The officer asked for his license, and of course my husband didn't have one. The officer let him go with a warning. The most they would do, is give you a ticket...and then you could make your parents pay for it...LOL:-)  |
