Hey Freaq how are ya? Its been awhile :) I too also used to have a serious addiction to this site. I dont come here much anymore..mainy because of other live obligations. I do see what you mean about the stories and such..I dont think USM has changed too much. Some changes I agree with..some not so much. But if Radman and Ginger are happy with the way their site is..than so beit.. I will still be loyal to USM no matter how often I am or am not able to visit. But I did notice some changes I didntagree with too much..thats just the way things go I guess..things change, people change..I guess my opinions on the site could go either way depending on which changes you are speaking of..thanks for voicing your opinion :)  |

One point I forgot to state is that the "Old USM" is exaclty that...USM will never be what it was but I am looking forward to what it will be. Im sure there are still changes being made. Maybe one day everyone will be satisfied or at least I hope so. That is a really high hope seeing as we have so many visitors. But I am happy as long as other people are happy. I just wish when people made these posts they would not only state the problem but come up with some probable solutions..because if there is no solution than how can the problem be fixed ya know? |

IMO, it all seemed to change once the membership fee was enacted. We just aren't getting any new blood in here, well not like we used to. And things have went kind of stagnant... Its a shame that a few troublemakers had to ruin it for the rest of us.  |

I too see big differences. Change can be good and bad. I agree about the popularity contest(s)...that seems to fall into a bit of favoritism too. It is sad.  |

I use to have a serious addiction to this site. It had heart and the people had heart. I personally think it all changed when we got all the admins and chat mins. I know this is a g rated site and i respect that but having so many people with power over the site kinda makes it feel like you have to watch your back no matter what. It also seems that a lot of the people who use to post don't any more and I am one of those people. I use to post all the time poetry stories and so on. my poetry was taken by another usmer so I did have those deleted but even if that didn;t happen I dont think I would post them. Mostly just because it seems that everybody here has lost interest.. just look in the chat room. it is sad really.  |

I agree, I've been here about 3 years (I had another account but it got deleted) and it has changed. You can get a free account (hence the flashing sign next to the USM logo) but you have to write a letter and send it by snail mail (so techically it's $0.37 + bribe money) but no one's going send anything snail mail unless they desparately want to and don't have a credit card (like me.) Do they have a way to email them for this? If not they should.  |

Ya they should...I joined about 5 yrs ago (next april) and had them to delete my account because of nosey family members and I had to BUY another one...5$ |
