Hey all, how has everyone been? I'm at home for the weekend and I had an interesting past couple of days! On Thursday I had to some Promotional work for Belk's dept stores in Oglethorpe Mall in Savannah. That day there was a "Red Hats" event. Do any of you know what the 'Red Hats' are? They are so cute, they are women who hang out together and wear red hats and purple clothes. Oscar de la Renta made an appearance there and I got to go and meet and greet him. He is Spanish but I read on a random internet site that he speaks Italian, French, Japanese and English too so when he signed his autograph I said 'Grazi Senore' and he responded back in Italian! And I said to him real slow because I'm not that fast yet, "Yo Capise Umpa Italiano" I don't even know if I'm supposed to use 'yo' at the beginning, but the gist is, "I understand a little Italian" it was neat! And I got him to sign something for my friend Dontavious too (that's my friend that's in a coma)
On Friday I saw the Beastie Boys! Great concert, and the neatest part was that I was in row P and when the concert "ended" and before they did their encoure they surprising appeared in Row Q, almost R so they were like RIGHT THERE and did 'Intergalactic'. They surprised me by doing some songs that I didn't think they'd do like 'Brass Monkey' and they didn't get as political as I thought they would (phew), their very last song was 'Sabatoge' which they dedicated to "our future ex-President"
