I would like to get feedback and or input on what you all think of this. I am getting ready to head a town over, to take some new signs to people that have had their Kerry for president signs stolen. I am saddened that people must stoop this low (from either party) as to destroy, steal, or otherwise take the right away of people, the right that is in the constitution to vote, to choose for yourself, to speak freely for what you believe in. These people that I am talking about, that had their signs stolen, I do not know them, never met them, but felt compeled to show them that, I support freedom of speech and the right to choose and voice my opinion, their opinion, the way they feel they need to. That we cannot be bullied from the other side, we can not be silenced from the other candidtates supporters, and that it is not right to mess with peoples rights. I found out that these people that had their signs stolen, by driving past, on a pretty busy road in town, and i was shown a sign in their yard, the sign was plywood, painted white, and in the middle of the yard with Christmas lights all around it, and on the top was a red white and blue Ribbon. The sign says" Bush supporters must be scared or threatened, because they stole all our signs." I feel compeled, to break out of the mold, and go to these people that had their rights violated, and tell them to put these new signs up that we have for them, and stand their ground on their beliefs, and that they have friends who care about their right to choose. So I am on my way to the democratic headquarters this morning to get some more signs and then im headed over to introduce myself and my wife to these people who are surrounded by Bush supporters and show them its ok to vote and say your gonna vote for Kerry, without any retaliation, and that they have backup support in us for whatever they need. What do you all think of this, and the sign stealing and destroying thats going on from both sides.
