Well, I don't have Word here at home, but look under format and font and see if subscript is in there somewhere. If not, click on help and type subscript in the search box and you'll get the answer.  |

hey i figured it out-you press control then while still holding that press hyphen + equal sign then let go of all of it and enter the number you need. Wow that's confusing! LOL. thanks guys  |

Even though you have it solved, Author10798 is also right. If you're using Microsoft Word, highlight the text you want to make smaller, right click, go to Font and below the font selection, there are a bunch of check boxes. One of them will say subscript. -  |
