I've been in the arts for a total of ten years, having studied American Kenpo for nine years ( I am now a 2nd degree black belt under the AKKI ), as well as dabbling in Gracie Jiujitsu ( under the Rickson Gracie IJA ), Kali, Jeet Kune Do, and Lama Pai kung fu ( all three under the CDF Academy of Mississippi ), Shaolin Five Animals kung fu, and a bit of Capoeira. |

I do Karate... I'm a purple belt right now. But I'm planning on becoming a black belt someday. My style is Kwon Shu, which is American Kempo mixed with some other styles. I took Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido for a year a while back. Lots of fun. Good luck! |

Why anyone would want to traditionalize American Kenpo is beyond me. |
