Mt. Rainier to erupt...***TRIAD

Acording to a psychic, Mt. Rainier is supposed to erupt in 2005. He bases his prediction on the "Bible Code" in which certain "experts" are allegedly able to make predictions.

The northern side of Mt. Rainier is supposed to explode. This northern side is the side of the mountain that faces Seattle, which is about 80 miles to the north. This person predicts that although there will be mass chaos in Seattle & its environs, relatively few people will die. Most of the deaths will occur in the rural areas & the small towns which are located within the shadow of Rainier.

Mt. Rainier is said to be the most potentially dangerous mountain in North America. How exciting.

I'm a skeptic...but I don't discount the possibility. I live about fifty miles from Mt. Rainier, which should make things interesting for me...if there is an eruption.

Date: 2/1/2004 12:41:00 AM  From Authorid: 53909    I've heard about this also. I'm not too too far from Mt. Rainer. So hopefully it doesn't happen any time soon..
Date: 2/1/2004 1:00:00 AM  From Authorid: 10722    It is a dormant volcano, so it erupting is only a matter of time. Can't predict what is inevitable.
Date: 2/1/2004 1:02:00 AM  From Authorid: 998    Well, we are less than 100 miles from this beautiful mountain, and I hope it never erupts. It is certainly a great landmark with awesome scenic wonderment. It has 26 glaciers year round, and makes it's own clouds. We have flown around it many times, and it always brings a gasp to us, at how enormous it is. So just this one time, can the psychic PLEASE be wrong ??? ... LOL
Date: 2/1/2004 1:03:00 AM  From Authorid: 62456    interesting, those people in ort better move.
Date: 2/1/2004 1:09:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 177    Ahahaha, admin. Is that you Radman?
Date: 2/1/2004 1:10:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 177    Yeah, Orting is supposed to be covered by a river of mud. Fortunatly the town has a Mt. Rainier eruption alarm system.
Date: 2/1/2004 1:13:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 177    Hi, Ginger. When I went on my first airplane flight twenty years ago the plane flew close by the side of Rainier. WOW! I'm thinking that I would like to visit the mountain again this summer. I havent been to Rainier for many years. Do you and George want to come along?
Date: 2/1/2004 2:00:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 177    According to this predictor there will be natural geological indications which will give warning of the big event. This will allow for people to evacuate.
Date: 2/1/2004 5:58:00 AM  From Authorid: 8024    I pray not .. doesn't sound to exciting to me ...
Date: 2/1/2004 6:26:00 AM  From Authorid: 54570    Yellowstone is more apt to go any minute. The water temps has risen and the plant life there have died. The altitude has risen by more than 50 ft. Rainer.. Hmmm it is a possiblility. Then again I have been watching too much Discovery Channel.
Date: 2/1/2004 6:48:00 AM  From Authorid: 14780    I was thinking earthquake for that area but ya know that volcano would make the earth tremble...could happen.
Date: 2/1/2004 6:53:00 AM  From Authorid: 28946    LOL @ Radman.
Date: 2/1/2004 9:40:00 AM  From Authorid: 16671    LOL at radman. Guess its a wait and see thing Triad. Thanks for the post.
Date: 2/1/2004 10:18:00 AM  From Authorid: 3263    I don't discount it either. Same with earthquakes. We could have either at any time, but it doesn't take a psychic to figure that out :p
Date: 2/1/2004 11:22:00 AM  From Authorid: 49150    It would be horrible if either volcano erupts. It would be worse if YellowStone Park erupts. The whole area is considered a "super volcano". If it were to erupt, we could except a nuclear winter for several years bringing on famine, drought and disease world wide. There is another super volcano somewhere in Southern California, which is similiar to YellowStone. It is said to be warming up also.
Date: 2/1/2004 11:27:00 AM  From Authorid: 49150    By the way, the last super volcano to erupt, happened in 535AD somewhere in Europe. A computer simulation suggested the volcano spewed debri over 30 miles into the atmosphere. The fine particles blocked out the sun, all over the world, for many, many years. Hence the Dark Ages of Britian and the Roman plague, which spread throught Europe.
Date: 2/1/2004 11:51:00 AM  From Authorid: 54968    LOL @ Radman!
Date: 2/1/2004 1:22:00 PM  From Authorid: 19092    And if that don't get ya, then Yellowstone will....
Date: 2/1/2004 6:33:00 PM  From Authorid: 59371    I don't know, if it's a volcano it will have to erupt some day. lol. Shows how much I know. Once Mt. Rainier gets mini quakes then it will erupt soon.
Date: 2/2/2004 4:20:00 PM  From Authorid: 22852    well I do not know about psychic's predicting it but I do know that scientists have said it will blow.. I watched a special about it not long ago.
Date: 2/3/2004 3:50:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 177    You are quite right, Storm. It doesn't take a psychic to predict that Mt. Rainier or Yellowstone will erupt. Geologists are the real experts.
Date: 2/3/2004 3:54:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 177    Hmmm...the Dark Ages. I never thought of it in those terms.
Date: 3/24/2004 4:55:00 PM  From Authorid: 30647    so does that mean seattle will be effected at all? becuz when i go to UW, hehe, i hope it doesnt.
Date: 3/31/2004 4:05:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 177    Ji Yun. Can I get a date with you at the Spaceneedle while Mt. Rainier is erupting? Uh...are you a girl?
Date: 4/7/2004 11:08:00 PM  From Authorid: 24235    Would be weird if it did... It looks so peaceful. I love Mt. Rainier. It's so beautiful... I took a trip to Seattle this past July and had a blast!
Date: 4/11/2004 6:33:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 177    Picwic...I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to my city. Now I should get up there sometime.
Date: 5/26/2004 6:06:00 PM  From Authorid: 62265    I don't think it's supposed to erupt, I think one side is supposed to have a massive mud slide or rock slide... something like that. Basically one of the sides is supposed to slide off, occording to scientists.
Date: 5/31/2004 11:46:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 177    ^yes, I've heard that also. Seattle likely will not be terribly affected...but areas near the mountain could be devastated, with whole towns buried in mud.
