I've heard about this also. I'm not too too far from Mt. Rainer. So hopefully it doesn't happen any time soon.. |

It is a dormant volcano, so it erupting is only a matter of time. Can't predict what is inevitable. |

Well, we are less than 100 miles from this beautiful mountain, and I hope it never erupts. It is certainly a great landmark with awesome scenic wonderment. It has 26 glaciers year round, and makes it's own clouds. We have flown around it many times, and it always brings a gasp to us, at how enormous it is. So just this one time, can the psychic PLEASE be wrong ??? ... LOL |

Yeah, Orting is supposed to be covered by a river of mud. Fortunatly the town has a Mt. Rainier eruption alarm system. |

Hi, Ginger. When I went on my first airplane flight twenty years ago the plane flew close by the side of Rainier. WOW! I'm thinking that I would like to visit the mountain again this summer. I havent been to Rainier for many years. Do you and George want to come along? |

According to this predictor there will be natural geological indications which will give warning of the big event. This will allow for people to evacuate. |

Yellowstone is more apt to go any minute. The water temps has risen and the plant life there have died. The altitude has risen by more than 50 ft. Rainer.. Hmmm it is a possiblility. Then again I have been watching too much Discovery Channel. |

I don't discount it either. Same with earthquakes. We could have either at any time, but it doesn't take a psychic to figure that out :p |

It would be horrible if either volcano erupts. It would be worse if YellowStone Park erupts. The whole area is considered a "super volcano". If it were to erupt, we could except a nuclear winter for several years bringing on famine, drought and disease world wide. There is another super volcano somewhere in Southern California, which is similiar to YellowStone. It is said to be warming up also. |

By the way, the last super volcano to erupt, happened in 535AD somewhere in Europe. A computer simulation suggested the volcano spewed debri over 30 miles into the atmosphere. The fine particles blocked out the sun, all over the world, for many, many years. Hence the Dark Ages of Britian and the Roman plague, which spread throught Europe. |

I don't know, if it's a volcano it will have to erupt some day. lol. Shows how much I know. Once Mt. Rainier gets mini quakes then it will erupt soon. |

You are quite right, Storm. It doesn't take a psychic to predict that Mt. Rainier or Yellowstone will erupt. Geologists are the real experts. |

I don't think it's supposed to erupt, I think one side is supposed to have a massive mud slide or rock slide... something like that. Basically one of the sides is supposed to slide off, occording to scientists. |

^yes, I've heard that also. Seattle likely will not be terribly affected...but areas near the mountain could be devastated, with whole towns buried in mud. |
