On the Hull to York road, about two miles from Pocklington, by the sign to Everingham, travelling in our car at 21.05 hrs. We first noticed a bright red light the size of a tennis ball coming from their right a little way ahead. It travelled fast and crossed the road in front of us, just above the telegraph wires. I only saw the red light but Hannah saw a dark shape, and said that the red light was at the back of the 'craft'. She drew me a sketch. The size Hannah estimates at being a little larger than a motor car. Would appreciate any sightings info from around the same time and place.
