Okie Dokie, here's some legends from errrmmm Maryland:
The Goatman-
In Beltsville, MD, there is said to lurk a foul creature that terrorizes people in Lover's Lanes. He's been known even to murder pets. It is said a scientist at the United States Agricultural Research Center of Beltsville, was expirimenting on goats, and became horribly mutilated and goatlike. People there and a few other places in PG county said they have seen a Half man from the torso up, and half goat from the torso down. Many even claimed to have been attacked by this grotesque abomination. Does he exist? We may never know... but if you are driving down forrested roads of PG county beware...
Crybaby Bridge-
(There are many variations of this story, I'm going to give my favorite and most chilling...) A woman, her husband, and new born baby, were driving through Greenbelt, MD. Their car stalled over a bridge, the husband assured them nothing bad would happen, as he went to a gas station nearby to get help. When he returned twenty minutes later, a fog that was not there when he left dissapated, reavealing, the car, a great deal of blood, and no wife or baby, he looked over the bridge to see a portion of his wife's tattered dress. They say if you drive over this bridge, you can here the baby crying (and sometiems the women screaming)...
The Blood on the Stone-
A girl who lived in a farmhouse in Chestertown, MD, snuck out of her house one morning, to elope with her lover. She left to meet him on horse back, the horse was suddenly scared, and she was thrown off, a sickening crack was heard, as her skull was spilt open on a stone. They say if you go to this stone, that the blood stain is stil there, and will not come off.
Hope ya enjoyed those ;)
