scriptures of lost parallel
ceaping into silence
creating a structure well
seen within the eye lids
dense in light with solid sight
hes been here once before
try and fight with all his might
he could never open the temple door
simple.. poor.. the thoughts that struck
stuck him to a haze
so far in that from within
he watched his spirit fade
hearing aids and toothless grins
are no near feared than death
we are alive to die
so, cherish every breath
