I felt a lecture coming on when I read the title, but now I have to say....Good for you. I wish more teens would chose not to drink on prom night, it just leads to trouble. |

homecoming is just as bad in all honesty. i went to prom my junior year, and the guy i liked was drunk off his butt, he was driving to. and you know what he didnt get in an accident that i know of i tried to get people to make sure he went home, and slept. he came and went, and it was really annoying. after that night, i couldnt stand to look at him. im glad you decided not to drink and all |

it is always so sad to see the victims of drunk driving...and it is twice as bad when it is a child. a drink is not worth a life. i am so happy to hear that you decided not to drink. it will make your evening so much more memorable. (hugs) |

My junior year I partcipated in a group thing about DWI right before the prom. Every year our high school does the prom promise. The prom promise is a promise not to drink or do drugs on prom night at all, not just drinking and driving. Throughout periods of the day the principal announced over the pa system that another student had died in a car accident and that student had to get out of their class hit the bathroom and change into all black clothes and paint their faces white. Then they couldn't talk for the rest of the day until after the last period. I went 3rd period...boy that was rough!. LOL |

You are making a good decision I am not going to get all preachy but tehre are reasons why minors should not drink and I am glad you are going to be respobnsible so you can have a good time and not have to worry about what you might do if you drink to much |

well I am really glad you were so moved by the presentation and changed your mind and attitude about drinking. The image of the graves are enough to bring anyone to tears...I just have to wonder if he divorced his wife though... |

I am so glad that it affected at least one person, because I always thought those presentations were so important for everyone, especially highschool and middle school kids to see. Althought it was such a tremendous heartbreaking story that was presented, it did show the students the consequences of drinking. |

that is terribly sad.. but it doesn't just happen with teenagers on Prom night. it happens even with adults that are legally able to drink.. all i think is that people can drink.. just don't be stupid about it! |

Thats so sad :~( poor little girl. They always stage a Fatal car accident here and put a wrecked car in front of the highschools during prom time. Hugs&Cookies |
