she reminds me alot of her father when i see her vids and on leno singing and such... the moves and the lip movements almost mirror her father.... i have nothing against her and i wish her all the luck.. i do think a little she is riding on her father's coat tails.. but hey i have nothing wrong with that(take every advantage available to you!! if the door is open why not take it?)  |

I think she is stunningly beautiful. She comes down here, (to Clearwater) a lot, and she owned a home here. I saw her once, walking near the Old Ft. Harrison Hotel, which is now the World-Wide Headquarters for the Scientologists. I only heard one song of hers, something about the "Lights In Memphis?"......it was very pretty. She sounds very soulful, and I don't think she is riding on Daddy's coat tails. I do have to say though, she does have a reputation for being, shall we say, firey?????? Good discussion.....  |

LAG by the riding on her fathers coat tails i mean her father opened up alot of doors for her and her last name takes her places.. i see nothing wrong with it(take every advantage you can in this world!!don't throw a good thing out the door) i don't think she would have signed that easily and been soo publicsized if her father wasent Elvis... her fathers name may have helped her through the doors.... but she is standing her own vocally |

LSG i do agree.. anyone who enters the door after a parent of a family member gets accused of riding the other persons fame and doesn't get a fair shake on some aspects.. i do agree with her for waiting this long to get it done(the album.... she has been offered by many companies for years to do albums and she kept saying no what is great) she put her heart into the album... i don't think she would have been sooo talked about all the talk shows her song playing everywhere soo quickly if she wasen't who she was... she doesn't get treated equally(not many singers get interviewed on 20-20 because they have an album comming out) but i think now because it's out there... people are going to love her or hate her... but i think she can stand her own... she is viesty! and speaks her mind what is great! |

Midnightly...I think those things made her hesitant too, to sign with a label..That would have been a hard descion to make lol in my opinon at least if I were her I would probably still be thinking whether I should go for it or not :~P. |
