I think women should be able to play...we're just as good, if not better, than anything men do...they're all scared that the woman golfer (I forget what her name is) will just show them up and bruise their egos |

Well IMO there are very few things a man can do that a woman cannot so I say let her play and when she wins she can rub in their faces!!! |

yeah, LOL they can tell us what we can't do the day they squeeze a big ol' baby out, LOL!! They think she should stay in her league and she's just too good...maybe some of the men should step down into the women's association |

I see no reason why she shouldn't be able to play. They don't want the embarassment of being beat by a woman. |

definitly. she should be able to play. the men are just scared because they know she'll probably beat them. i guess they would feel funny getting beat by a woman at a sport that was made origionally for men. lol. i say more power to her. if your good at something, then do it! |

Sure its fine. As a matter of fact lets throw some guys in the WNBA...and Ladies Tennis, throw some guys in ladies track and field events, swimming,....wait somehow I think that the women above may have a problem with that. Here we go again with reverse discrimination! If a man wanted to play on the LPGA it wouldn't happen. But after this I am sure one will try. Heck just for the money a man hitting off a womens tea..put tiger woods out there!! lol |

Sorry...you put me on a soapbox. This kinda rings the same bells as the black miss america contest. Since there is a WPGA that men aren't allowed to compete in...women shouldn't be allowed to compete in the PGA. Simple as that. And since there is a black miss america, black women shouldn't be allowed to compete for the miss america contest. WHY CAN'T PEOPLE SEE THIS? |

Vijay Singh is gonna have egg on his face if she winds the tourney. If a woman is able to play on a par (pun)with a man then she should. Navratilova, the tennis player beat lots of men, but she couldn't play against them in tournaments. |

Koolade, I wouldn't go as far to say she'll win, but it sure would be a pretty site if she scored under Singh! Blue Knight thank you for the opposition...As much as I do see your side on some of it, my thoughts still go back to the monopoly hold she has on the LPGA. Tiger Woods has his good moments, but he has had a few good loosing streaks too, making the men's playing field far more fair than the ladies. OMGoodness, I really can't believe I have such passion on a subject concerning a sport that bores the crud out of me, but from the outside looking in, and not just as a woman, I see the point in her desiring greener GREENS and bigger challenges. The men should be delighted and welcome such a challenge. |

I strongly agree with Vijay Singh. She doesn't belong there. "this female golfer's talents overqualify her in the Ladies pro-golf league" ...but that doesn't mean she has the right to take another man's place in their league. |

This is dumb I hate all the equal-rights for EVERYTHING. Its a time honored tradition for men. They should be able to do whatever they want its there club. Now by no means am I sexist but I think women should ever be let in as long as the PGA decides otherwise its part of there own freedoms to decide wether or not. |

I'm all for taking a few channels off the air Big Tex, the ones you named are just the tip of the iceburg, LOL So don't get me started there, LOL Thanks for sharing your views. I guess us women are a bit different, I doubt you'd find too many females who would get in such an uproar about the same type thing...except those womens lib chicks and yeah, lesbians, LOL |

Usually, seperate events are required for men and women because the guys are so much larger and muscular than ladies that they would overpower the women. But if a woman can hold her own with the men, then, absolutely, let her play to see who's best. Or, are these boys afraid of being beaten by a girl? |

"AHEM!" Friends, romans and countrymen..er eh, wrong speech..hehehe. Hello SpaceCase. I think the key word here is, "pro golfer." If the person is good enough to be clasified as such, then that person should be able to compete with other pros. Write on... |

Afraid I can measure up? I bet you I can play any sport you can absoulutly beat you. Im not worried about how men will measure up Im worried about everything having to be politicaly correct. I would have the same opinion if it was an all womens league and a man wanted to join. So it summed up no a women shouldnt be able to join the PGA. |

Ah who cares? I like golf, great game... but as far as the PGA goes? Boring! Hey, if they want to open up to women, go for it... it needs the ratings, besides it's not a contact sport. Combine it, I don't care. So what if some big golfer baby doesn't want it to happen, so what, then don't play, hurt my feelings, lol. |

I was comparing myself to Mollycat. And of course theres women that can beat me in sports but I can put up a good fight in football and racing against a majority of women. Men are generally stronger and faster then women and thats not really arguable. |
