Awww.. I'm sorry.. My grandma is in the hospital also.. massive stroke, she loss the use of her left side and she'll have to go to rehab for six months IF she makes it out of the hospital... My family is suing for mal-practice also.. I feeeeeel the stress..  |

I'm sorry MG, hope he's better. Don't know why his Doc is so clueless. If he has been on coumadin then his PT and INR should have been checked weekly. Being on (K) potassium and other meds, his bun and creatinine should have been checked for renal insuffiency, (kidney) problems. Always have an ALT (liver function) when on certain meds, a basic metabolic panel in a situation like this. I'm only a nurse but here's my opinion for what it's worth. Hope he is okay!  |
