Lightening bugs light up from the mixture of certain chemicals to form light, I can't remember the exact name of the chemicals. But when they are mixed together with oxygen it creates a spark. |

interesting post katsho I hope so too. But on a humerous note....I hadn't seen fire flies until last summer when i was in kansas....so we'd go for a walk at night and I'd see them and like a little kid yell 'do it again!' LOL and went chasing them trying to catch them LOL....One of Danny's cousins has a boyfriend *For the life of me I can't remember his name* and he's like 'it's so depressing when your driving and you see one high your windshield.....then it just kinda glows and it fades and all you can do is say 'ahhhhhhhhhhhhh'" lol |

I've never seen fire flies in real life before, just only on TV, lol. I don't think we have them here in Ontario. |
