Always tell the truth, it may lose you a few 'friends' but are they really people that you need to have as friends? ![]() |

I agree with what the others said. I know right now it's really bad.. but tell the truth. You don't need friends like that. If you have never had detention etc before.. and now you are getting into trouble then you don't need them as friends. Why should you lie for them? They should have never asked you to do such a thing in the first place, and you should have never agreed to do it. Why did you agree to bring them what they wanted? I'm just curious. I did some dumb things in school too.. and I tell ya.. I learned from them really fast. LOL Just tell the truth, who cares what your other friends think. You shouldn't take all the heat in this. I hope it all works out... and it will. God Bless ![]() |

IF YOU DO THE RIGHT THING YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO LOOK BACK ANDWONDER WHAT IF . MABYE IF YOU TELL THE TRUTH NOW YOU CAN SAVE THEM FROM ALWAYS THINKING THAT THERE WILL ALWAYS BE AN EASY WAY OUT AND TRYING SOMTHING MORE DANGEROUS. ITS HARD NOW BUT THINK OF THE CONSEQUENCES THAT COULD COME UP LATER IF YOU LIE NOW. YOUR FRIEND , wooden nickel ![]() |

Well, bringing that stuff to school was dumb, but you already know that. You shouldn't do anything. Just tell the principle what happened, maybe you won't get into so much trouble if you do. Guess this is how you gotta repay your debt. Hope you don't do something like that again. ![]() |

Wow losing a trip to hawaii would suck. But I agree with you about telling the truth. The truth is easier to keep up with. And I understand how you feel, but this will pass and one day you will look back and think how petty it all seemed. Don't stress yourself out too much. And DONT do anything like this EVER again. If you need a friend to talk to, you can msg. Good luck with everything! ![]() |

something else I wanted to add....tell the truth...because if you don't you will find yourself using one lie after another to cover up the previous lie.. ![]() |

It seems like you've learned your lesson and got some pretty good advice here. As for your friends, explain to them what you just explained in your post, that it would be really darn stupid if you were the one to tell seeing how you got in trouble too. Also, if they ever ask you to bring alcohol remind them this lil' situation and just say no. ![]() |

Hey! Thanks for your help everybody! I brought it because my friend asked me to and i was stupid enough to do it for them. I can't give you a good reason for why i did it...i wasnt thinking and I definitely will NEVER do it again. My mom called the school today and she was talking to my guidance councelor and she said that they all believe me and not my other "friends". Since this is the first time ive ever gotten in trouble and they have had so many detentions before, i think thats part of the reason why they beleive me. But Im sick of my friends calling me b/c i dont want to listen to them yell at me b/c im telling the truth or to tell me to lie. They also told the principle that i drank the alcohol which was not true! These were my closest friends and i dont see how they could do that to me. but all of them are saying that they didnt say it so i dont know what going on. If i cant trust my best friends, then who can i? ok well thanks for all your help! *hugs* ![]() |

You are doing the right thing in telling the truth. If your "friends" are telling you to lie, then they aren't very good friends. They bear responsibility in this situation, too, and they need to accept their share, rather than blame it all on you. Their inability to do so illustrates how very immature they are. We all make mistakes, but it seems you are the only one with the maturity to stand up and take the responsibility for them. I'm very proud of you for doing that, and I'm glad you learned the lesson about the alcohol. The best lessons in life are usually the ones that are the hardest on us, but they are also the ones that we remember best so that we don't repeat them. Keep doing what you know is right, and you'll be ok! On the other hand, I'm a little more worried about your friends. ;-) -Lotus Blossom ![]() |

definitly tell the truth! why should you take all the blame? a real friend wouldn't expect you to do that. yes, it was completely wrong to bring it to school. but i think you learned from your mistake. alot of growing up comes from learning from what you do wrong. your friends will never learn that if they don't face up to their part of this. just tell the truth and take whatever punishment you are given. ![]() |

they want to save thier own butts... you honestly did a stupid thing bringing it to school(what you were doing with it anyways???) but i see you now realise that(what is a good thing!!) just stick to your guns and tell the truth if they choose to lie that is thier choice but why should you save thier butts? it almost sounds like they talked you into doing it and now they want to pin the blame on you ![]() |

telling a lie will jsut make matters worse so it is good that you have chossen to tell the truth....you have to ask yourself though why you brought the alcohol to skool....you knew it was bad, was it because your friends or so called friends pressured you to! be truth ful to yourself....sorry im not being hard or anything but i think that you have learnt your lesson, and maybe you should think about hanging with a different group of friends! ![]() |
