Many times in our lives we will feel a prompting that we are suppose to do something, but not sure why or where this feeling is coming from.
I had a situation years ago when my youngest was around two years old. She was sleeping with me and I was awakened in the middle of the night and told to feel her forehead, that she had a fever. I thought this was strange, as she had not shown any signs of illness. But, I reached over anyway and felt her head. She was burning up with fever! I then took her temperature and it was really high. I then commenced to give her Tylenol and watched over her continously until her fever finally broke and she eventually came back to normal.
I often wonder, what could or would have happened if I had ignored the promptings of the Spirit and turned over and went back to sleep? Since then, I have learned of the dangers of high fevers in children and the damage they can do. I am so grateful I listened to the promptings of the Spirit.
I just wondered if perhaps some USMers would like to share perhaps a story where they felt this prompting and how it affected them? Thanks in advance! How it changed my life:It taught me the importance of always keeping myself in tune to hearing and feeling the promptings of the Spirit and recognize that this is one of God's ways to communicate with us here on the earth.
