you could give away hand-made personalized cards made just by you with a chocolate or a cookie attached on the side and a ribbon tied around the cookie *i think you'd be able to find cheap ribbons at k-mart or any low-priced store* ..oh well, sorry i couldnt be much help! |

One idea is to make some bath salts. Here is a recipe for it ..... Candy Cane Bath Salts: 2 cups epsom salts ... 1/2 c. sea salt ...4-6 drops peppermint oil ... 2-3 drops red food coloring. .....Place one cup of epsom and 1/4 cup sea salt in a bowl or resealable plastic bag. Add 2-3 drops peppermint oil. Place the remaining ingredients in a second bowl. Mix all ingredients well. Layer the red and white salts in a clear bottle or jar. Tie with a ribbon and some small candy canes. .... You can use things like water bottles or even jars that you can find at the dollar store or yard sales. |

One other thing is those cloth covered bags of rice that you can put in your microwave and warm up for sore muscles.....or put in your freezer to make cold packs out of. Here is a web site that will give you directions on how to make them. ..... http://www.allfreecrafts.com/ricehotpack.htm |

hmmm I like the dollar store Idea, I did that once, you can usally find really cute baskets and then put a few things in them, 5.00 and you have a nice gift that looks like it costs more... *huggles n angel love* You can also make candles, just melt some cheap crayons over a double boiler and pour into a small glass, any shape or size, you can proably find them at the dollor store too, you can layer colors if you melt them one color at a time, dont forget some kinda thick string for the wick, just tie it to a pencil and place the pencil over the glass before you pour the wax in, they look cute and are pretty easy to make you can also buy some cheap scented oils to add scents to them Good Luck.. *huggles n angel love* |

The pillow you made me for my birthday this year was REALLY beautiful. I love it. You could sew something. You could bake cookies or candy. I hope you find something fun to make. |

LOL at Bcar. Christmas has gone so commerialized and the gifts are so expensive. So many people one wants to share with but cant afford it. Lots of times a flea markets, hand stores, thrifty stores, you will find odds and ends of yarn. One could make house slippers. And it wouldnt be like it was a used gift as the yard has not been used before, just disgarded. Or make winter caps or something like that. |
