Looking for - Principal Makes Off Like Fat Rat?

I am a concerned parent of St. Theresa School located in the Bronx, We, the parents, need your help in getting answers to our questions. Here is what happened: on Friday, January 8th, it is rumored that our principal, Mrs. Burr, was arrested for stealing money from the school. Some people say she stole from $40,000-$400,000 from the school in the time that she served as principal (about six years). This is money that was faithfully given to the school to be used for our children. We have tried to meet with the Priest and he will not meet with us to answer our questions. We took up a petition and when we went to confront him with it, he would not even see us. He has been avoiding us completely. The Archdioses will not help us either. I recently heard that the Priest has forgiven Mrs. Burr and will not be pressing charges against her. Also, as a result of this, the tuition for September will be raised an additional $56. This is not fair. What about the money s! he stole? The school has been asking the parents to donate money and supplies for years. Why don't they ask Mrs. Burr to pay for everything with the money she stole. It's not fair to our children. They are not able to speak or fight for themselves so we, the parents, have to. We need your help finding out the truth. What really happened? Will the children get compensated for the money that was stolen or will she get off like a 'fat rat?' It's just not fair.
