LOLAK the undead

10 years ago, my best friend threw a party. A mutual friend of ours, Dave, arrived with his ouija board. I have had one other spooky experience with a Ouija, so I refused to participate. There were about 8 or so people at this party, and all by myself and my best friend were 'playing'. Us two non-participants were sitting on the couch watching t.v. not paying much attention until some yelling came from the group messing with the oracale. They were demanding that the spirit, an alleged 10 year old boy named P.M. who was murdered by his parents, show them a physical sign. The planchette got very agitated, for lack of a better word, and the tape player near me popped on. My best friend and I wrote this off as a natural occurence due to the continuous play phenomena. However, (and this is probably familliar), it went all down hill from there. The angered spirit claimed not to be the innocent P.M., rather a notorious demon named LOLAK. It demanded the owner of the! Ouija board's, (Dave's), body. Dave asked it what it planned to do with his body should it gain entry, and it said, 'Rage'. So Dave told it something effeminate, as was his way, 'Spirit, this is my body and you may not have it'. (This is where the substance abuse becomes important.) My best friend and I had taken quite a lot of powerful hallucinogens. I 'saw' a giant hand come crashing down through the cieling and point right at me. It was all a hallucination, and I knew it for what it was due to its gossamer and translucent appearance. Anyway, it put the thought in my head that, 'Hell is pissed at Dave', which I seemed to find remarkably funny. After this, I went to the kitchen and sat down on the floor. My best friend was near me getting something out of the refridgerator. The next thing I knew, Dave was in the room, backed up against the cabinets. Apparently I had been chanting and cackeling about something that concerned him. He started crying and demanded to ! be taken home. All of us were frightened by this time, and we were clustered together. We heard a little boy screaming from an empty room. Then a bunch of crashing noises. We actually saw this thing run from my best friend's room to her little brother's room. It looked rather like static from an unused t.v. station. It slammed the door to my best friend's little brother's room and made the alarm clock go off. There were 5 boys with us, all begging and practically crying to be taken home. We took them home and returned to her house, just my best friend and I, and tried to watch a movie. This thing had unhooked the vcr from the television as if it knew our intent. I re hooked it back up, but there was a vent near the back of the entertainment center. There were moaning and crashing noises coming from this vent. It took all my considerable will not to run away screaming. We finally gave up out post and went to my house until her parents came back into town. But I ha! d the stongest urge, probably like an addiction, to get the ouija board and resume our contact. I knew this was craziness, so I never have. But that morning, it must have followed us to my house. When we woke up, my water bed was popped and leaking. 10 years have passed so we can laugh about it now. How a 17 year old girl was sleeping with her lights on, was terrified of her own room etc. But never underestimate the power of divination. One of our friends from that night bought a demonologie. Therein he found that LOLAK does not exist, but interestingly enough, everything in hell is backwards, and a KALOL is a very powerful demon indeed. Spooky.

I have often been strongly tempted, but have never been near a ouija board again.
