OUIJA BOARD - FORETELLS DEATH.......

My name is Cy Brown and I would like to tell you a true story involving a Ouija Board........ I was Fourteen years old back in 1989 when the chilling sequence of events began, myself and 3 close friends decided to try out the Ouija Board as it was the latest craze sweeping the school, being young we had no fear in embarking on this course of action. Let me tell you if I knew then what I knew now I would have steered a clear path away from the Ouija. We secretly assembled a Ouija Board in our School woodwork class, our template being a film we had hired out from the video shop I think it was called Which Board. We freeze framed the images and sketched the board layout. We basically managed to produce a near perfect copy of what the board looked like, you would probably think why make one? Quite simply it is ilegal to sell them in the U.K. so we had no alternative. We had found a place to use it which would be an Ideal location, we had a large Theatre at our school that had a stage that was raised six feet off of the ground, by chance my friend Colin who was involved in a Drama course the previous year new that there was a hidden access door to beneath the stage as there was some rigging beneath that controled certain areas of the stage such as a trap door. rWe planned to use it in our lunch hour and at a time that we knew the theatre would be vacant. The opportunity arose for Colin, Simon, Craig and myself to go and use the board at ordained location. We sneaked in to the theatre with a few flashlights and the Ouija board hidden in our bags, we headed straight for the stage and the hidden entrance laughing and joking all the time not taking any of it seriously. We opened the hatch and peered in the area covered by the stage, I thought we would need flashlights but I had no idea that it would be completely pitch black. We got our torches out and turned them on, I am telling you the scene in side could not have been any more perfect it was full of old props, costumes and mannequin's and cobweb's from Plays spanning many years. We headed towards the centre where it was clear from debris, as there was some equipment for operating the stage. We sat down arranged the torches around us so that it would spill light into the centre of the circle where the board would be. We got our Ouija board out, we put our hands on to the widget and began asking questions I felt at that stage we were pushing it ourselves and we were just joking around, things changed though when I said to the guys lets be serious now and see if this really works. So I came up with the question ' What is God's true name' At that point I noticed that the temperature was very noticeably cold as I could see my breath misting infront of me, I tried to think if it was that cold before because if it was I never noticed, naturally I dismissed it, though I did note we were all glancing at each other nervously but no one wanted to vocalise what I feel we were all thinking. Suddenly it began to move and it spelt out the letters J-A-H-O-V-A. We a! ll looked at each other in surprise realising what it had spelt, we all knew that neither had pushed it with out having to say a single word to each other. Craig being Craig laughed out, but I could tell it was a forced laugh that was not fooling me. Full of Bravado Craig asked the board ' well you cleared that up for me. Now as you are so all knowing I want to know when I am going to die'. It simply pointed out the numbers 19 and spelt out and RED CAR, FLAMES. I suddenly felt very afraid and said 'lets get the hell out of here now.' I had this feeling in the pit of my stomach like if we did not get out of here now something terrible was going to happen. We all just grabbed our things and ran as fast as we could out of there. I felt so sure that I was never going to see daylight again, I did fortunately, nothing happened. We never talked about what happened that day as it made us feel like a bunch of wimps. 3 Years passed and we had all forgotten about that day, we had all started university except for Craig who had drifted apart from the rest of us and had been getting himself into trouble with the authorities. I remember this day very clearly it was 7:00am in '94 and I was eating my breakfast when the phone rang it was Colin, I said Hi what an earth are you calling me this early for? pretending to sound annoyed. He said Simon just called me he asked me to call you as he has told me some bad news. Beginning to panic I said well what is it? He said It's Craig he was killed last night. I replied 'no he can't be' Simon said I am afraid he is, he was killed in a stolen car, it was a red car, the police said there was hardly anything left to recover as the car burst into flames, and Cy we are stil only nineteen. Then it hit me like a train, the Ouija Board incident, I said Simon the Theatre, the Ouija board. He said I know I just cant believe it. I have never doubted the power of the Ouija since that day, I would strongly advice you never to use it unless you are prepared to face the consequences.
