The very special night that my mom visited me.

I remember the events that took place on Christmas Eve in 1995, like it was yesterday. I was visiting my grandma for my Christmas Break so my dad and I decided to stay at my grandma's house and then leave in the morning and go back to Indiana. My dad took the guest room and my grandma slept in her room so the only place that I could sleep was in the living room on the couch which I didn't like at all because the couch was very uncomfortable to sleep on. I was awakened by the most beautiful voice i had ever heard in my life. I recognized the voice because the voice was my mom's. I woke up and saw the beautiful blue light and saw my mother standing over me and i nearly jumped five feet in the air because she scared me. She told me that everything was going to be alright and that god was taking really good care of her up in heaven. I had told her how things were going for me and my dad. Mommy said that she had to go but that she was going to visit again someday and she will always be in my heart. The next day i told everyone including my dad about the visit and he thought that it was untrue and so I left and went for a walk to cool down before I arrived back at my grandma's.

The event has made me more aware of the life after death and it has made me think that I'm very lucky to have had my mom visit me after she had died.
