A year after my dad died, a friend of mine (Christy) and myself were at my mom's and we had brought my board. I told her that I wanted to see what would if we used the board in the exact spot my dad had died. It was a little weird for me but I wanted to do it. I had only told her a little bit about my dad. Mainly the parts of when he was sick. She knew nothing of when I was a child. We started to use the board. I was the one asking the questions and it answered. I asked the spirit if it knew my dad, it said yes. The spirit told me that I needed to let my dad rest in peace. I told it that it was hard and that I really missed him. Christy is sitting there looking like she thinks that I am dumb. The next thing that happened was the board spelled out 'I love you Waterpuppy'. As soon as I saw that my mouth dropped and my hands left the board. Christy asked me what was wrong and what Waterpuppy was. I told her that my dad was there. Waterpuppy was a nickname t! hat my dad had given me when I was young. He stopped calling me this name when I was about 10 or 11. I had honestly forgotten that he called me that. After that last time on the board I have felt at peace with my dad's death and I always feel him around me. How it changed my life:I can finally accept my dad's death.
