Before I was born my mother's uncle and cousin were electricuted at a job site - I believe that they worked in construction. This actually happened in South Carolina. My mother's aunt, obviously devastated over losing her husband and son together, came up to New Jersey for a rest. She has always said that she felt her husband near her for a while after he died. She believes that he wanted to make sure she was ok. There is a picture - a polaroid, which aren't supposed to pick-up shadows, of my mother's aunt sitting in a wooden dining room chair in the archway between the living room and dining room of her sister's house in New Jersey. You can clearly see in the picture a man standing up, leaning at the waist over my mother's aunt. The figure is transparent, but you can see facial features; hair; he is wearing a flannel shirt, a belt, and jeans. My mother says that it looks just like her dead uncle. Everyone in the family pretty much believes it was him. Noone ! in the family is interested in telling anyone about it though because my mother's other aunt (who's house the picture was taken in) has other entities living in it and she doesn't want people coming around to stir things up. Both of the other ghosts died violent deaths in the house (1- a man who's wife shot him seven times in the living room and kitchen because he cheated on her, 2- a waitress who worked in the hotel next door who lived there when the house was a rooming house for the hotel waitresses, who was strangled by her boyfriend in one of the bedrooms because she was pregnant) The man used to talk to my mother's cousins when they were little, nobosy has ever heard from the waitress, but there is a cold spot in the room where it happened. My mother's aunt believes that the man protects her family because her children have been in horrible accidents and come out without serious injuries. There had been no activity for several years until recently - my mother's aunt was walking down the steps into the living room and she saw the back of a man sitting on the couch, her husband was not expected home yet, but she assumed it was him and when she said 'What are you doing home already the man disappeared. That's the story so far.
