I have never believed in psychic abilities and such, but I do believe in premonitions. I have had two preminitions that have become reality. Both came in the form of a dream. The first happened when I was fifteen. I had a dream about my uncle dying at Christmas. It was about two weeks before Christmas and he had several heart attacks in the past. We all feared that he would die every time, but he had always made a full recovery. One week after the dream he was admitted into the hospital because of another heart attack. The day before Christmas Eve he was doing fine and we went to vist him. The doctor told us he would be released the next day. He never made it. He died at 6:30 Christmas Eve morning of an unsuspected heart attack. It happened just like my dream, except it was Christmas Eve instead of Christmas day. The second premontion was not as scarey. I had lived in Oklahoma all my life. I remember when I was in seventh grade, there was prediction of an earthquake in Oklahoma. They had even predicted the exact day. Of course there was never a quake and I had forgotten about it. Then last summer I dreamed that there was an earthquake in Ada, where my husband and I were living at the time. I thought it was odd because I hadn't thought about that silly prediction in a long time. In my dream my husband and I could see everything shaking, but we weren'nt a part of it. I thought it was funny and told my mother and mother-in-law about it. We all had a good laugh and forgot about it. A month later my husband and I moved to Texas. A few days after the move my mother called me. There had been and earthquake that was felt in her home town and Ada. It scares me to think about it sometimes, but I think God was just preparing me for what was going to happen in the future. I was very close to my uncle, but after the dream I made a point of spending some time with him. Also, we were suppose to wait to move but decided to go early. If we hadn't went early then we would have been there when the earthquake happened. How it changed my life:I now listen to my dreams and try to act upon them. I have not had another dream that actually happened, but if I dream a family memeber dies I try to spend some time with them and let them know I love them.
