Iam trying to assist my wife in locating her biological father. Although information on her father is limited, maybe someone will recognize the places and times and maybe even a name. My wife was born in Ashland Oregon on March 13th of 1964. Her mother was Mary Ann McCartney. Mary had four brothers, Mike, Tim, Dennis and Pat. My wifes birth certificate indicates that her father was a Harvey Weiman. With the help of 'grandma' we contacted his parents in Southern California in 1986. Harvey's mother said that when her son and Mary were married in 1963, she was already pregnet and she blamed the pregnancy on Harvey but that she was already pregnet at the time. This was the cause of the divorce of their short marraige. A dear friend of the family who was good friends of Mary's brothers told my wife last year that Mary had met a friend of her brother Mike who was in the service and came to Ashland with Mike on leave. There this man met Mary and a short lived relationship began then ended once he went back to active duty. Mary became pregnet at this time. This relationship wuld have occured sometime in either June or July of 1963 in Ashland, Or. My wife has not had a relationship or communication with her mother for over 12 years and her mother would never reveal information. It is important for my wife to find the man that fathered her for her own piece of mind.
