Strange Happenings in a Strange House

Our House, is not unusal for freakey happens, but I would like to tell you about one of them. When the house was brought it was condended because the previous owners had left it to crumble away. We bought the house for a very cheap price, when the land lord died, and his son dident know what to do with it. The house did come with quite a reputation, but me being a sceptic, I was going to pass for a chance like this. I was renting a flat about a mile away from the house, so I dident know what happened there at night. When I arrived one morning I entered the house and the front door was opened. I entered cously because the area was know for tramps and if there was one in my new house I was going to let him have it. I search most of the up stairs, and when I was sure that it was througly cheaked I headed across the 1st floor to the other stairs. As I walked down I could hear somthing down in the lounge. I move down slowly and then I heard this shouting, ' No leave me alone, get away, Help '. As I reached down stairs, there was this tramp culed up in a corner, shouting at me. I pulled him to his feet, and he screemed out, he was frighteened to death. I dragged him out of the house and into the garden. By now he had carmed down a little, and I asked him what was the matte! r. He proceeded to tell me that in the middle of the night, he suddenly went very cold and he said that he has seen the figures of an old man and lady float down the stairs and across the floor, straite trought him and throght the wall behind him. I dident believe him and threatened him with the police, and then let him go on his way. When I entered the lounge I looked to see where the tramp had beening sitting, and what greeted me more than a bottle of sprits, and im not on about the Ghost kind. I accounted the story to be the work of the drink, and never thought any more of it. When me and my family moved into the house, then I started to believe, My wife was cleaning the original wooden floor in the lounge, and she said that when she looked up she saw the shape of an elderly man and women float down the stairs, pass her and throught the wall. From that day she would not enter that room alone and she still will not. I passed it all of as a figment of her imagination, until one night when I was watching TV. I has positioned the TV under the stair case, It was late I must of fallen a sleep, for 10 minutes or so, when I woke up, I had enough time to see two figures dissappear through the wall to the left of me. I knew that I had not dream such a thing as this because it was not only me who had seen it. I tooked the matter futher, and looked up in the deeds and the originals plans of the house, and I found out thatthere was and old man a lady that once rented the house, had been evicted because the couldent keep up the payments. I also found out in the plans that there was a once a door where the figures has walked trough. When I told one of my freinds he just laught, so one night when he had had enough to drink I invited him back to my house to stay in our lounge. I turned of the lights and wished him a good night sleep. Around about 3am I was a woken but my white faced friend asking if he could sleep at the bottom of our bedroom. I dident say any thing, I just had to prove it to some one else, and to my self. I do have some other intresting stories of the house but I will save them for another day
