Ghost off a boat

When I was working on a sailing boat for some people, I had to take care of it and clean around the place. One night, when I was getting into the dingy to go into shore with a friend, we made sure that there was no one left on the boat. When we were about halfway to shore, I looked back , and all of the lights were on, and there was someone walking around on the deck. With the permission of the people who owned the boat, a friend of mine and his girlfriend spent the night on the boat. She is a very neat and tidy person, so she put her sneakers lined up outside of the door. When they woke up the next morning, her shoes weren't there. They looked everywhere, and they weren't found until two weeks later when the cook found them in the oven. Eventually, the ghost came to my house and lived there with me. Every night I would say, 'Goodnight Sammy, ' 'cause that's what his name was, and the lights would flicker on and off, and sometimes the door would open and close. Soo! n, I had to move, and I never met him again.

I am now a strong believer.
