I can't remember exactly how old I was when I had this experience. I think maybe 14/15 yrs old. It is kind of difficult to explain, I hope you can understand. I went to bed in my room , and my cat Blackie always slept on the end of my bed , she was always a quiet cat (by the way she was Black and White) I should also explain that my bed was lying against the same wall as my window, on the second story at the back of my parents house and there was nothing out there except open air. Well just as I was falling into a deeper sleep, my cat started glowling (as if annoyed by something) she actually woke me up, so as I sat up to ask her whats wrong ( of course I knew she wouldn't answer me, I always talk to my pets) I went to pat her and I noticed a patch of small lights on my bed spread ( the patch was about the size of hand and the little lights were all different sizes, for eg. the size of marbles and peas and they were all moving around in this patch quite brightly and as soon as I saw it. I leaped out of bed and ran outside to fortunately find my two older brothers in the living room watching TV. I was in a panic and told them that the cat woke me growling and that I had seen lights on my bed spread. We ran back to my room (me of course behind them) and there was the cat sitti! ng up and staring out the half opened venitian-blinds . One of my brothers then proceeded to get on top of our roof with a flash light since there seemed to be no other way that anyone could flash a light through my window. But I remember now that there was no beam to the light which scares me the most because I know that is unexplainable. The next day I went to school and I told my friends and teachers about it. I asked them if they could please give me a plausible reason for these happenigs, they didn't laugh at me because they know me, but no-one could explain it. We don't have fire-flies in Australia. Please contact me if you think you can give some in-sight into what I,ve experienced. How it changed my life:It is something I can't froget, I don't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing, the thing I think it has taught me is to be aware, there are things out there we need to be careful of.
