I live in a historic town, the houses themselves are over 200 years old, and the graveyard right across from my house dates back to the 1700s, including a husbad, wife, and child less than a year old buried together in the same grave. So needless to say, I have had more than my share of happenings. And being a psychic myself, I have seen a lot more than some of the people around me. One of the strangest things I have seen happened at my friend's house. She awoke one night to see a bright green ball hovering above her bed. It moved down over the end of the bed. At that time her brother burst into the room, and the ball turned white like it was startled. After 'seeing' him it turned green again, floated over to an indented alcove in her wall, and simply disappeared. In this alcove was her stereo, the right speaker was blown out. The following day my ex and I was there, and we both know for a fact that the deck doors were closed and the speaker was blown when we left the room...we had heard it hiss. No one else could have been in the room, but when we entered it later, both deck doors were open and the speaker worked as if it were brand new. The room wa so charged with energy it tingled, especially where the ball had formed and in the alcove. Also at her house, I had been spending the night there one night, and we heard a woman humming to herself. It was a sad song but her voice was happy, and it was coming from her brother's room across the hall. She thought maybe it was his radio, he always slept with it on, but when I listened closely I could hear it was on commercials. All of a sudden she was overwhelmed by such sorrow that she couldn't help but cry. And all that night, silhouetted against her white dresser, was the figure of a kneeling man...except it looked like he had been made of popsicle sticks. We never found an explanation for either. I heard the voice just that one night, but she said she heard it often and never paid any attention. That was the only night she was effected by sudden, unexplained emotion. My house has also had it's fair share. The back of the graveyard itself is empty, they never filled it. Every Halloween there is an eerie green glow in the back, and no matter how clear the night is, mist always swirls from dusk til dawn. I always figured one of the neighbors did special effects....until one night when I got older I went to see which house it was, and found no source of the unnatural green light or the mists. I used to work a Ouija board often, and I never will again. My cousin was over spending the night before she moved to Tennessee, and we were on my floor playing with the board. All of a sudden she yelled ouch, and looked at her leg. There, near her butt, was adult human bite marks, top and bottom jaw. And all that night I watched red lines appear across her body, like someone scraping fingernails on her skin. This is only the beginning, I have lived here for 11 years and have a lot more stories than that. Ghosts follow us and surround us whether we like it or not. We are never alone. Even from the Angel that saved me when I was sick in school-I was so hot I shouldn't be alive today, but no temperature registered on a thermometer or on the nurse's hand. Don't ever assume you're alone, They are always watching. How it changed my life:It's given me a new perspective of death and dying and has taught me that just because you're not physical doesn't mean you're not there.
